OUR PROJECT

Did you know that every three minutes a child is born without a smile?

​Our names are Bel​én Berdegué and Brawnlyn Blueitt from Texas A&M University, and we believe every child has the right to smile. In light of this, we intend to raise funds to assist Operation Smile. Operation Smile is an international nonprofit organization that provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities for children around the globe.

Over the next two months (April-May 2012) we hope to raise $720 to fund the operations for three children in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.   

​

Donations are greatly appreciated, since any small amount has a huge impact on the lives of these children. Donations are being collected through a sole propietorship account, and will be audited through a third party. 

​

We are currently in the process of starting an Operation Smile Chapter at Texas A&M University and once fully recognized, we will be able to raise funds through the Student Organization Finance Center.
